I recently had to say goodbye to my best friend, no matter how cliche the phrase Tucker was indeed this man’s best friend. It is interesting how you can understand something cognitively and still be completely unprepared to deal with it’s emotional impact. I was not prepared for all of the little side effects of daily life missing a daily presence. Silence has never been so loud.
I am not writing this to share my loss with you, that is a deeply personal experience that I’m still in the process of digesting and will be for some time to come. The reason I am writing today is to share Compassionate Care with you. Compassionate Care is a company focused on allowing you to say goodbye to one of the most important members of your family in the best place for them, your home. Having them come to our home to send Tucker from this physical world on to whatever his next journey was the best decision we could have made.
