If you had asked me before a few months ago if I would be interested in… or even could fall in love with something as strange as a shampoo bar I would likely have laughed in your face.
As fate would have it though I do love them! At least the ones from East TN Soap Works. I have always resisted hand made soaps because so many of them have that SMELL. I do not enjoy the smell of whatever that is that is the core material of those soaps. A few months ago a good friend sent Amber a care package that included one of these bars, she has to use specialty hair care products so she could not use the bar, making it available for me. I thought it smelled incredible so I tried it out and I LOVE IT.
I was so frustrated when the cleaning lady threw the pieces of it away that I immediately found their Etsy page and ordered more. I also just vacationed in Tennessee and stocked up even more! So far the Peach Caramel is my favorite, I loved the Vanilla Coconut that I tried first but they seem to have changed it to 2 separate flavors and the Vanilla Bean is nice but the previous one smelled better.
